Costa del Sol (Coast of the Sun)

The best known of all the Costas, The Costa del Sol was once made up of a series of small fishing ports. The coast includes the city of Malaga and the well known towns of Torremolinos, Fuengirola, and Marbella. The 100km of coastline that stretches west from Malaga is the most highly developed part of the coast, while the 50km stretch of coast to the east of Malaga is, by comparison, quieter.
